Indications

Tukol-D Diabetes is indicated for the relief of dry and productive cough associated with respiratory infections, as well as to facilitate the expulsion of bronchial secretions. This medication acts as an antitussive, which helps to suppress the cough reflex, and as an expectorant, which promotes the elimination of mucus accumulated in the respiratory tract. It is useful in conditions such as common colds, bronchitis, and other respiratory conditions where cough and congestion are predominant symptoms.

Composition

Each 10 ml of suspension contains: Dextromethorphan 0.2 g and Guaifenesin 2 g.

Contraindications

Tukol-D Diabetes should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or in those with severe respiratory diseases such as uncontrolled bronchial asthma.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of chronic respiratory diseases, such as asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Likewise, it is important to consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen. The recommended dose should not be exceeded, and combination with other products containing dextromethorphan or guaifenesin should be avoided.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
