Indications
Troferit Syrup is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of non-productive cough, which can be caused by various respiratory conditions. It is useful in cases of cough associated with respiratory tract irritation, such as in the common cold or in situations where a dry cough is uncomfortable and causes discomfort. Its antitussive action helps to reduce the frequency and intensity of coughing episodes, thus improving the patient's quality of life during the recovery process.
Composition
Each 100 ml of syrup contains: Dropropizine 3 mg, excipients: sorbitol, glycerin, citric acid, among others.
Contraindications
Troferit Syrup is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the components of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of productive cough, as it may hinder the elimination of secretions. Its use in patients with chronic respiratory diseases should be carefully evaluated by a physician.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of respiratory diseases or those who have difficulty expectorating. It should not be used for prolonged periods without medical supervision. If the cough persists for more than one week, a doctor should be consulted.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
