Indications
Tritazide is indicated for the treatment of essential arterial hypertension. The combination of Ramipril, an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, and Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic, allows for an effective reduction in blood pressure. This combination is also used in patients with heart failure, reducing mortality and improving quality of life. Tritazide can be used as initial therapy or as an add-on treatment to other antihypertensives, depending on the patient's clinical response.
Composition
Each Tritazide tablet contains:
- Ramipril: 5 mg
- Hydrochlorothiazide: 25 mg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with a history of angioedema associated with ACE inhibitor treatment. It should not be administered to patients with bilateral renal artery stenosis or renal artery stenosis in a single kidney.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with renal failure, liver disease, or a history of allergic reactions. It is important to monitor renal function and electrolytes, especially in elderly patients and those receiving other diuretics. Its use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
