Indications
Tritazide is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension. This medicine combines two active ingredients, ramipril, an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, and hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic. Its use is recommended for patients who do not achieve adequate blood pressure control with monotherapy. Furthermore, it can be used in patients with congestive heart failure and for the prevention of cardiovascular events in high-risk individuals.
Composition
Each Tritazide tablet contains 2.5 mg of ramipril and 12.5 mg of hydrochlorothiazide as active ingredients. Excipients: lactose, starch, and others.
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components, a history of angioedema related to previous ACE inhibitor treatments, and in those with bilateral renal artery stenosis or stenosis in a single kidney. It is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of kidney disease, diabetes mellitus, and in those taking other antihypertensives or diuretics. It is important to monitor kidney function and potassium levels during treatment. Regular blood pressure evaluation is recommended.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
