Indications
Tritace (Ramipril) is indicated for the treatment of high blood pressure. Its mechanism of action involves the inhibition of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), which results in a decrease in the production of angiotensin II, a potent vasoconstrictor. In addition, Tritace is also used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events in high-risk patients, as well as in the treatment of congestive heart failure, as it improves ventricular function and decreases mortality in these patients. It is important that its use is supervised by a physician, who will assess the patient's condition and the appropriate dosage.
Composition
Each Tritace tablet contains 5 mg of ramipril as the active ingredient. It also includes excipients that facilitate its formulation and presentation.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to ramipril or any other ACE inhibitor. It should not be used in patients with bilateral renal artery stenosis or in those with a history of angioedema associated with previous ACE inhibitor treatments. Likewise, it is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with kidney failure, heart disease, or those who are undergoing treatment with diuretics. It is advisable to monitor blood pressure and kidney function during treatment. Elderly patients may be more sensitive to the effects of ramipril.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
