Indications
Trexen Duo is indicated for the treatment of vaginal infections caused by bacteria and fungi. It is used in the management of infections such as bacterial vaginosis and vaginal candidiasis. Clindamycin acts as an antibiotic that inhibits the growth of bacteria, while ketoconazole is an antifungal that fights fungal infections. Its use must be under the supervision of a healthcare professional, who will determine the appropriate duration and dosage according to the patient's condition.
Composition
Each capsule contains 100 mg of clindamycin and 400 mg of ketoconazole, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
Trexen Duo is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to clindamycin, ketoconazole, or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless prescribed by a doctor.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Trexen Duo in patients with a history of colitis, gastrointestinal diseases, or liver alterations. It is important to perform medical monitoring during treatment, especially if adverse reactions occur. It should not be used in combination with other antifungals without medical supervision.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. The storage temperature should not exceed 30°C.
