Indications
Trevissage is indicated for the treatment of severe nodular acne that does not respond to other treatments and may lead to permanent scarring. It is also used in the treatment of other severe dermatological conditions that require the action of isotretinoin. Its use should be considered in patients with acne resistant to conventional therapies, as well as in those with a significant risk of permanent scarring.
Composition
Each Trevissage capsule contains 10 mg of isotretinoin as the active ingredient. It also includes excipients that facilitate the formulation and stability of the medication.
Contraindications
Trevissage is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to isotretinoin or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered during pregnancy, as it can cause serious harm to the fetus, nor during breastfeeding. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe uncontrolled dyslipidemias, liver disease, or vitamin A metabolism disorders.
Precautions
Regular medical follow-up is recommended during treatment with Trevissage. Patients should be informed about potential side effects, including dry skin and mucous membranes, and should be advised on the use of effective contraceptive methods to prevent pregnancy during treatment and for up to one month after its completion. It is important to avoid blood donation during and for at least one month after treatment.

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C, in a dry place away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
