Indications
Treda is indicated in the treatment of psychotic disorders, including schizophrenia and mood disorder. It is used for the management of manic episodes and as maintenance treatment in patients with bipolar disorder. It may also be useful in the treatment of behavioral disorders in patients with dementia, as well as in the treatment of patients with symptoms of severe anxiety.
Composition
Each Treda tablet contains: Olanzapine 30 mg, excipients q.s. (tablets). Excipients include lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, among others, which are necessary for tablet formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to olanzapine or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered to patients with a history of severe adverse reactions to antipsychotics of other classes.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, and in those who present symptoms of depression or suicidal ideation. It should be used with care in patients who consume alcohol or recreational drugs. Patients should be monitored for possible adverse effects and the dose adjusted according to clinical response.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature (between 15°C and 30°C). Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
