Indications
Trayenta Duo is indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, as an adjunct to diet and exercise. This medication is used in patients who do not achieve adequate blood glucose control with metformin alone or in combination with other antidiabetics. The combination of linagliptin and metformin allows for a synergistic action that improves glucose control by decreasing glucose production in the liver and increasing insulin sensitivity.
Composition
Each Trayenta Duo tablet contains 2.5 mg of linagliptin and 500 mg of metformin.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, in cases of severe kidney disease, liver failure, and in situations of metabolic acidosis or diabetic ketoacidosis.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of pancreatitis, cardiovascular disease, or those who may have an increased risk of dehydration. It is important to regularly monitor renal function and blood glucose during treatment with Trayenta Duo.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
