Indications
Tramacet is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. It is used in cases of postoperative pain, cancer-related pain, and situations where effective pain management is required. The combination of tramadol and paracetamol provides a synergistic analgesic effect, allowing for more effective pain relief. Its use may also be considered in patients with chronic pain, following appropriate medical evaluation and recommendation.
Composition
Each tablet contains: 37.5 mg Tramadol (as hydrochloride) and 325 mg Paracetamol.
Contraindications
Tramacet is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to tramadol, paracetamol, or other components of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with acute alcohol intoxication, hypnotics, or analgesics, as well as those with severe respiratory diseases or in a comatose state. Its use in patients with a history of seizures or uncontrolled epilepsy is also contraindicated.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of substance abuse, hepatic or renal insufficiency, and in those receiving concomitant treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). The risk of respiratory depression should be considered, especially in patients with pre-existing respiratory diseases. It is important to monitor patients during treatment.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
