Indications
Traderma Ointment 0.1% is indicated for the treatment of atopic dermatitis in adult and pediatric patients over 2 years of age. This medication is used in cases where topical corticosteroids are inadequate or cannot be used. Its action is based on the inhibition of T-lymphocyte activation, which reduces inflammation and symptoms associated with dermatitis. It may also be used in the treatment of other inflammatory skin diseases, as determined by the physician.
Composition
Each gram of ointment contains 1 mg of tacrolimus as the active ingredient. Excipients: [detail excipients if known, otherwise omit this section].
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to tacrolimus or any other component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with active skin infections.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Traderma in patients with a history of skin infections. Exposure to sun and UV radiation sources should be avoided. Concomitant use of other topical medications or dermatological treatments should also be evaluated. In case of severe irritation, treatment should be discontinued and a physician consulted.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C. Keep the product in its original packaging and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
