Indications
Traderma Ung 0.03% is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis in patients who have not responded adequately to conventional topical therapies, or in those requiring long-term treatment. This medication acts as an immunomodulator that helps reduce inflammation and itching associated with dermatitis, promoting the healing of affected skin. Its use is suitable for adults and children over 2 years of age. This medication should not be used on infected lesions or on areas of the skin with severe alterations.
Composition
Each 100 g of ointment contains: Tacrolimus 0.03% as active ingredient. Excipients: Petrolatum, microcrystalline wax, and others.
Contraindications
The use of Traderma Ung is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to tacrolimus or any of the excipients in the formula. Its application is not recommended on infected skin lesions, as well as on areas with perioral dermatitis or rosacea.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using this medication in patients with immune system disorders. Prolonged use is not recommended, as it may increase the risk of skin infections and neoplasms. Patients are advised to avoid prolonged sun exposure and to use adequate photoprotection during treatment. In case of irritation or adverse reaction, its use should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
