Indications
Tradea Lp is indicated for the treatment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children and adolescents. It is also used for the treatment of narcolepsy. Methylphenidate, its active ingredient, acts as a central nervous system stimulant, helping to improve attention and concentration, and reducing impulsivity and hyperactivity. It is important that treatment be supervised by a physician, who can adjust the dose according to the patient's needs.
Composition
Each Tradea Lp tablet contains 20 mg of methylphenidate, as well as excipients for its formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to methylphenidate or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of glaucoma, tics or Tourette's syndrome, as well as in patients with a history of substance abuse or severe depression. It is also contraindicated in patients who are using monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or who have used them in the last two weeks.
Precautions
Caution is recommended when administering Tradea Lp to patients with a history of cardiovascular problems, hypertension, psychiatric disorders, or seizures. Blood pressure and heart rate should be monitored during treatment. In addition, growth should be evaluated in children and adolescents undergoing prolonged treatment.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
