Indications

Topsyn Gel 0.05% is indicated for the treatment of various dermatological conditions that respond to potent corticosteroids. This medication is used in the management of diseases such as atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, and other inflammatory skin conditions. Fluocinonide works by reducing inflammation, redness, and itching associated with these conditions. Its use should be supervised by a healthcare professional, who will determine the duration and frequency of treatment according to the severity of the condition and the patient's response.

Composition

Each 100 g of Topsyn Gel contains: Fluocinonide 0.05 g. Excipients: purified water, propylene glycol, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, among others.

Contraindications

Topsyn Gel is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to fluocinonide or any of the components of the formula. It should not be applied to infected areas, open wounds, or in skin conditions that present adverse reactions. Furthermore, its use is not recommended in children under two years of age.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using it in patients with a history of systemic diseases or in those who require prolonged treatments. The application of the gel should be limited to the affected areas and contact with mucous membranes and eyes should be avoided. In case of irritation or adverse reaction, its use should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
