Indications
Topifort Cream 0.05% is indicated for the treatment of various dermatological conditions that require the anti-inflammatory and antipruritic action of clobetasol. It is used in the management of dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, and other inflammatory skin conditions where the use of potent corticosteroids is justified. Its application is recommended under the supervision of a healthcare professional, ensuring proper and controlled use to minimize the risk of side effects.
Composition
Each 100 g of Topifort Cream contains: Clobetasol (as propionate) 0.05 g. Excipients: purified water, glycerin, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Topifort is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to clobetasol or any other component of the formula. It should not be used in viral skin infections, such as herpes simplex or chickenpox, or in tuberculous skin lesions. Its use is prohibited in perioral dermatitis, rosacea, or in cases of untreated bacterial infections.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when applying Topifort to extensive areas of the skin or for prolonged periods, as this may increase the risk of systemic absorption and related adverse effects. Contact with eyes and mucous membranes should be avoided. In case of an adverse reaction, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
