Indications
Tiaminal B12 is indicated for the treatment of B complex vitamin deficiencies, especially in cases of megaloblastic anemia caused by vitamin B12 or folic acid deficiency. It is also useful in the treatment of diabetic neuropathy and other peripheral neuropathies. It is indicated for the treatment of fatigue and weakness associated with nutritional deficiencies, as well as in the management of conditions requiring additional vitamin support. Additionally, it is used as an adjuvant in the treatment of neuropathic pain and in situations of chronic stress.
Composition
Each ampoule contains:
- Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) - 1000 mcg
- Thiamine (Vitamin B1) - 100 mg
- Lidocaine - 20 mg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of untreated anemia of undefined origin. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe renal failure.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of heart disease or arrhythmias, as lidocaine may affect cardiac conduction. Monitoring is recommended for patients with liver diseases, as well as those who consume excessive alcohol. The risk-benefit ratio should be evaluated when administering this product to pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Protect from light and keep out of reach of children.
