Indications
Tiaminal B12 is a dietary supplement indicated for the treatment of vitamin deficiencies, specifically those related to a lack of cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), and thiamine (vitamin B1). Its use is recommended in situations of increased vitamin requirements, such as during pregnancy, lactation, or in people with restrictive diets. Furthermore, it is indicated for the management of neurological and hematological disorders that may arise from the deficiency of these vitamins. Tiaminal B12 may also be useful as complementary treatment for certain neuropathies and in the prevention of megaloblastic anemia.
Composition
Each capsule of Tiaminal B12 contains:
- Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) - 250 mg
- Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) - 50 mg
- Thiamine (Vitamin B1) - 100 mg
Contraindications
This product is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components. Furthermore, its use is not recommended in those suffering from severe kidney diseases or who are undergoing treatment with certain medications that may interfere with the absorption of B complex vitamins.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with liver disorders, as vitamin metabolism may be altered. Likewise, monitoring is suggested for patients who are undergoing treatment with medications that may interfere with the metabolism of B vitamins, such as some antibiotics and anticonvulsants.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
