Indications
Theraflu Td is a medication indicated for the symptomatic treatment of colds and flu. It is used to relieve symptoms such as fever, headache, nasal congestion, and general malaise. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, helping to reduce fever and pain. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that relieves nasal congestion, making breathing easier. This medication is designed to provide temporary relief from symptoms associated with colds and flu, improving the patient's overall well-being.
Composition
Each sachet of Theraflu Td contains: 650 mg of Paracetamol and 10 mg of Phenylephrine, in addition to the necessary excipients for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the formula's components. It should not be administered to people with severe liver disease or those taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or within 14 days of discontinuing treatment with these medications.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid problems, or those taking other medications containing Paracetamol. It is important to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment with this medication, as it may increase the risk of liver toxicity.
