Indications
Theraflu Sachets is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of colds and flu. Its formulation combines paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic, with pheniramine, an antihistamine that helps relieve allergy symptoms, and phenylephrine, a nasal decongestant. This medication is useful for reducing fever, relieving headache, nasal congestion, and other symptoms associated with common colds and flu.
Composition
Each sachet contains: 650 mg of Paracetamol, 20 mg of Pheniramine, and 10 mg of Phenylephrine.
Contraindications
Theraflu should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It is contraindicated in individuals with severe liver diseases, as well as in those who are receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or within 14 days after their discontinuation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver disease, high blood pressure, heart disease, or in those who are taking other medications containing paracetamol. Use in pregnant or breastfeeding women is not recommended without prior consultation with a doctor.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
