Indications
Tesacof Niños is indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases with productive cough. It is useful in conditions where mucus fluidization is required, facilitating its elimination and improving breathing. It is recommended in cases of acute and chronic bronchitis, as well as acute respiratory infections in children. Bromhexine acts directly on respiratory secretions, helping to reduce sputum viscosity and promoting its expulsion. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions for proper use and correct dosage according to the patient's age and condition.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Tesacof Niños solution contains: Bromhexine hydrochloride 80 mg. Excipients: purified water, sorbitol, citric acid, sodium benzoate, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to bromhexine or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in children under two years of age without medical supervision. Patients with active gastroduodenal ulcers or a history of gastrointestinal bleeding should avoid its use.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with liver or kidney diseases. Simultaneous administration with antitussives is not recommended, as it could hinder mucus expulsion. It is important to monitor the patient's progress and adjust the dose as indicated by the physician. In case of adverse reactions, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
