Indications
Tempra Ped Drops is a medication indicated for the treatment of fever and pain in children. It is used to relieve various types of pain, including headache, toothache, and discomfort caused by colds and flu. Additionally, it is used to control fever in children, providing relief in situations of general discomfort. Paracetamol acts on the central nervous system, inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, which contributes to fever reduction and pain relief.
Composition
Each ml of Tempra Ped Drops contains 100 mg of paracetamol as the active ingredient. Excipients: purified water, glycerol, citric acid, and other components that contribute to the stability and presentation of the product.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or to any of the product's excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease or liver failure. Likewise, its use should be avoided in those with chronic alcoholism.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Tempra Ped Drops to children with dehydration or liver diseases. It is important not to exceed the recommended dose, as excessive use of paracetamol can lead to liver toxicity. It is recommended to consult a doctor before use in combination with other medications containing paracetamol.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
