Indications
Tempra Forte is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of fever and mild to moderate pain. It is useful in the management of conditions such as headache, muscle pain, joint pain, dental pain, and fever associated with infections. Paracetamol acts on the central nervous system, raising the pain threshold and exerting an antipyretic effect by acting on the thermoregulatory center of the hypothalamus, resulting in a decrease in body temperature in febrile states.
Composition
Each tablet contains: Paracetamol 650 mg and excipients, which include: starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and others.
Contraindications
Tempra Forte is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Paracetamol or any of the excipients. It should not be administered in cases of severe liver failure, severe liver diseases, or in patients with a history of severe kidney disease. Caution should be exercised in those with chronic alcoholism and in patients with liver diseases.
Precautions
It is recommended to evaluate liver function before starting treatment with Tempra Forte, especially in patients with a history of liver disease or excessive alcohol consumption. Do not exceed the recommended dose, as it may increase the risk of liver toxicity. Care should be taken when co-administering with other medications containing Paracetamol to avoid overdose.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep in a dry place and away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
