Indications
Teboven (Troxerutin) is indicated for the treatment of chronic venous disorders, such as venous insufficiency, and its associated symptoms, including leg heaviness, cramps, and pain. It is also used in the treatment of hemorrhoids and as an adjuvant in the treatment of traumatic and postoperative injuries, contributing to the reduction of inflammation and the improvement of microcirculation. Its action is based on improving venous tone and reducing capillary permeability, which promotes blood circulation and decreases edema.
Composition
Each Teboven tablet contains 300 mg of troxerutin and excipients necessary for its formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to troxerutin or any of the components of the formula. Its use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended without medical supervision. Furthermore, it should be avoided in cases of severe bleeding disorders.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases or hemorrhages. It is advisable to consult a doctor before starting treatment if additional symptoms appear or if the patient is undergoing treatment with other medications that may interfere with the action of troxerutin. Likewise, the doctor should be informed about any pre-existing medical condition.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
