Indications
Tebonin Forte is indicated for the treatment of circulatory disorders, especially in the cerebral area, as well as to improve memory and concentration. It has been used in the treatment of symptoms associated with mild cognitive impairment, such as memory loss and decreased attention. This medication may also help improve peripheral circulation, being useful in cases of intermittent claudication and other vascular disorders.
Composition
Each tablet of Tebonin Forte contains 80 mg of Ginkgo Biloba extract, standardized to contain a minimum of 24% ginkgolides and 6% bilobalide, in addition to the excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
Tebonin Forte is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ginkgo Biloba or any of the components of the formula. Likewise, its use is not recommended in those who suffer from bleeding disorders or are undergoing treatment with anticoagulants or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, due to the potential risk of bleeding.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of seizures, as Ginkgo Biloba may increase the risk of convulsive episodes. Furthermore, it is important to consider the possibility of interactions with other medications, so it is suggested to consult with a doctor before starting its use, especially in the case of pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as in elderly patients or those with pre-existing medical conditions.
