Indications

Tavor CR 10 mg is indicated for the treatment of urinary incontinence and bladder overactivity. This medication acts as an antispasmodic, providing relief in conditions where involuntary contractions of the bladder musculature occur. It is also used in the management of dysuria and other disorders related to urinary function, improving the quality of life of patients suffering from these conditions. Oxybutynin can be useful in the treatment of symptoms associated with overactive bladder, including urinary urgency and frequent urination.

Composition

Each Tavor CR tablet contains: 10 mg of oxybutynin as hydrochloride.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to oxybutynin or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in individuals with closed-angle glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, or those with severe gastrointestinal or urinary obstruction. Furthermore, it should not be administered during pregnancy and lactation unless absolutely necessary and under strict medical supervision.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in elderly patients, as they may be more susceptible to adverse effects. In patients with cardiovascular diseases, liver or kidney problems, a careful evaluation should be considered before starting treatment. It is important to monitor patients who experience symptoms of urinary retention or constipation during treatment.

Storage

Keep the medicine in its original packaging, at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
