Indications

Tavor is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with urinary tract disorders, including urinary incontinence and bladder spasms. This medication acts as an antispasmodic, helping to relax bladder muscles and decrease urinary frequency and urgency. It is also used in the management of conditions such as interstitial cystitis and other conditions causing overactive bladder.

Composition

Each Tavor tablet contains 5 mg of oxybutynin as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the drug's formulation.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to oxybutynin or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be used in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, gastrointestinal or urinary obstruction, or in those with severe urinary retention problems.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of heart disease, hypertension, liver or kidney disease. Monitoring is recommended for elderly patients, as they may be more susceptible to the adverse effects of the medication. Tavor may cause drowsiness, so care should be taken when driving or performing activities requiring attention. Alcohol consumption should also be avoided, as it may potentiate the sedative effects of the medication.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
