Indications
Tafitram is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. It is used in patients who require pain management that is not adequately controlled with conventional analgesics. This medication combines two analgesics: paracetamol, which acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, and tramadol, an opioid analgesic that acts on the central nervous system. Tafitram's formulation provides a synergistic effect that can improve pain control in postoperative situations, acute injuries, or chronic conditions such as arthritis and oncological pain.
Composition
Each Tafitram tablet contains:
- Paracetamol: 325 mg
- Tramadol: 37.5 mg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with severe liver disease or respiratory failure. Its use is not recommended in patients who are being treated with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or in those with a history of substance abuse.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of seizures, as well as in those with hepatocellular diseases or at risk of opioid dependence. It is important to evaluate renal and liver function before initiating treatment with Tafitram. It is recommended to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment, as it may increase the risk of adverse effects.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
