Indications
Tafirol 1G is indicated for the treatment of fever and pain of various etiologies, such as headache, muscle pain, toothache, and postoperative pain. Paracetamol is a widely used analgesic and antipyretic that acts centrally, inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system, which contributes to its analgesic and antipyretic effect.
Furthermore, Tafirol can be used as an adjunct in the treatment of various medical conditions that present with fever or pain, thereby improving the patient's quality of life in situations of discomfort.
In the case of fever, paracetamol helps reduce body temperature by acting on the temperature-regulating center in the hypothalamus. Its use is recommended in patients who do not tolerate other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or in those for whom they are contraindicated.
Composition
Each Tafirol tablet contains 1 g of paracetamol as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.
Contraindications
Tafirol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or to any of the product's excipients. Likewise, it should not be administered in cases of severe liver failure or in patients who consume large amounts of alcohol, due to the risk of hepatotoxicity.
Precautions
Tafirol should be used with caution in patients with liver or kidney disease, as well as in those who are undergoing treatment with other medications that may affect liver function. It is important not to exceed the recommended dose to avoid the risk of toxicity. In case of unusual symptoms or adverse reactions, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.
