Indications

Tafil (Alprazolam) is indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders, as well as for the management of panic disorders. Its action is based on the modulation of the activity of the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which produces a sedative and anxiolytic effect. It is used in situations where a rapid reduction of anxiety or stress is required, as well as in the treatment of symptoms associated with generalized anxiety disorders. Its use under medical supervision is important, considering its potential for dependence and the need for continuous patient evaluation.

Composition

Each Tafil tablet contains 0.5 mg of Alprazolam as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its administration and absorption.

Contraindications

The use of Tafil is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Alprazolam or to any of the excipients in the formula. Furthermore, its use is not recommended in people with narrow-angle glaucoma, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and in those with a history of substance abuse.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency, as well as in those with a history of depression or suicidal thoughts. Prolonged use of Alprazolam can lead to tolerance and dependence, so rigorous medical evaluation and constant monitoring are recommended.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures no greater than 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
