Indications
Tafil (Alprazolam) is indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders and panic disorders. Its anxiolytic action helps reduce anxiety and tension in patients with symptoms of generalized anxiety disorders and panic attacks. This medication is also used in the management of anxiety associated with depression, providing symptomatic relief in conditions where anxiety is a predominant factor.
Composition
Each Tafil tablet contains 0.25 mg of Alprazolam as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate its formulation and administration.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Alprazolam or any other component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with closed-angle glaucoma, as well as in those with severe respiratory insufficiency or sleep apnea syndrome. Likewise, the administration of Tafil is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation, unless otherwise indicated by a physician.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of drug or alcohol abuse, as well as in those with liver or kidney diseases. Alprazolam administration may cause drowsiness and affect the ability to drive or operate heavy machinery; it is recommended to avoid these activities during treatment. Continuous medical monitoring is important to adjust the dose and monitor for possible adverse effects.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
