Indications
Tafil is indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder. Its action is based on Alprazolam's ability to modulate central nervous system activity, producing an anxiolytic and sedative effect. This medication is effective in managing anxiety-related symptoms such as muscle tension, restlessness, and difficulty concentrating. It can also be used in the treatment of anxiety-related insomnia.
Composition
Each ml of solution contains: Alprazolam 0.75 mg. Excipients: Glycerin, citric acid, sodium benzoate, purified water.
Contraindications
Tafil is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Alprazolam or any of the product's excipients. It should not be used in cases of narrow-angle glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, severe respiratory insufficiency, or in combination with other central nervous system depressants without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of substance abuse, depression, or psychiatric disorders. Alcohol consumption should be avoided during treatment with Tafil, as this may potentiate the sedative effects. Prolonged use can lead to dependence, so it is suggested not to exceed the recommended treatment time. If treatment is to be discontinued, it should be done gradually under medical supervision.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
