Indications

Tabitral 0.05% Cream is indicated for the treatment of various dermatological conditions requiring a potent corticosteroid. It is used in the management of inflammatory dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema, and other conditions that respond to topical steroid therapy. Its anti-inflammatory and antipruritic action helps reduce redness, inflammation, and itching in affected skin. It is important that the use of this medication be supervised by a doctor, who will determine the duration and frequency of treatment according to the patient's response.

Composition

Halobetasol propionate 0.05% as active ingredient. Excipients: purified water, glycerin, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, among others.

Contraindications

Tabitral Cream is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to halobetasol or any of the formula's components. It should not be used on infected skin lesions, or in areas where viral, fungal, or bacterial infections are suspected. Likewise, its use is not recommended for skin conditions such as rosacea or perioral dermatitis. Its use in children under 12 years of age should be evaluated by a doctor.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised with prolonged use, as it may cause local and systemic adverse effects, especially on extensive skin areas or under occlusive dressings. Regular patient monitoring is recommended to track treatment evolution and detect possible side effects. In case of developing signs of infection or adverse manifestations, use should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C, in a dry and cool place, protected from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
