Indications
Tabcin Noche is indicated for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with cold and flu, including fever, headache, nasal congestion, cough, and general malaise. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, helping to reduce fever and relieve pain. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that helps suppress coughs. Doxylamine is an antihistamine that provides relief from allergic symptoms and helps improve sleep quality. Phenylephrine acts as a decongestant, relieving nasal congestion.
Composition
Each capsule contains:
- Paracetamol: 250 mg
- Dextromethorphan: 10 mg
- Doxylamine: 6.25 mg
- Phenylephrine: 5 mg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the formula's components. Its use is not recommended in people with severe liver disease, severe high blood pressure, or those taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). It should not be used in children under 12 years of age without a doctor's indication.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of respiratory diseases, heart problems, or who are being treated with other medications. It is suggested to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment and not to exceed the recommended dose. It is important to consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.
