Indications
Tabcin Active is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of colds and flu. Its formulation combines four active ingredients: paracetamol, which acts as an analgesic and antipyretic; phenylephrine, which is a nasal decongestant; dextromethorphan, which acts as a cough suppressant; and chlorphenamine, which is an antihistamine that helps relieve allergy and congestion symptoms. This product is designed to provide temporary relief of symptoms associated with colds, including fever, headache, nasal congestion, and cough. It is recommended for use in adults and children over 12 years of age, following the instructions of a healthcare professional.
Composition
Each capsule contains: 325 mg of Paracetamol, 10 mg of Phenylephrine, 5 mg of Dextromethorphan, and 2 mg of Chlorphenamine.
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the formula's components, as well as in those who have severe liver diseases or heart problems. Its use is not recommended in patients who are taking MAO inhibitors or in those with a history of severe respiratory problems.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in its use in patients with liver disease, hypertension, diabetes, or in those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is important not to exceed the recommended dose and to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment, as it may increase the risk of adverse effects.
Storage
Store this medicine in its original packaging, at room temperature (between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius), protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
