Indications
Tabalon Infantil (Ibuprofen) is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of fever and pain in children. It is used in cases of fever associated with viral or bacterial infections, as well as for the management of mild to moderate pain, such as headache, toothache, menstrual cramps, and postoperative pain. Ibuprofen acts by reducing inflammation and relieving pain, providing an antipyretic effect that helps to lower fever. Its use is safe in children from six months of age, provided it is administered in the appropriate doses according to the patient's weight and age.
Composition
Each 5 ml of suspension contains: Ibuprofen 100 mg as active ingredient. Excipients: purified water, potassium sorbate, cherry flavor, among others.
Contraindications
Tabalon Infantil should not be used in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or any of the excipients in the formula. It is contraindicated in cases of active peptic ulcer, severe renal insufficiency, and in patients who have experienced severe adverse reactions to other NSAIDs. Its use is not recommended in children with severe dehydration or chronic kidney disease.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, asthma, arterial hypertension, or heart disease. It is important to assess renal function in patients who use this medication for prolonged periods. Its use is not recommended in the third trimester of pregnancy due to the potential risk to the fetus.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
