Indications
T-P Ofteno is an eye drop indicated for pupil dilation (mydriasis) during ophthalmological examinations. Its formulation combines phenylephrine, a sympathomimetic agent that causes pupillary dilation, and tropicamide, an anticholinergic that inhibits the contraction of the iris muscle, thus facilitating examination of the fundus. This medication is useful in the evaluation of various eye pathologies or conditions, as well as in the performance of certain surgical or diagnostic procedures.
Composition
Each ml of T-P Ofteno contains: Phenylephrine 50 mg and Tropicamide 8 mg. Excipients: sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid, and purified water.
Contraindications
T-P Ofteno is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with conditions such as angle-closure glaucoma or severe heart disease. It should not be used in cases of active eye infections.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with high blood pressure or cardiovascular diseases, as well as in older adults. Prolonged use may result in adverse effects, so it is recommended to use it only under the supervision of a physician. Avoid contact with contact lenses and do not use if the package is damaged.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep the product out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
