Indications
Synvisc One is indicated for the treatment of pain associated with knee osteoarthritis in adults. This medication acts as a lubricant and shock absorber in the joints, which helps improve function and mobility. It is administered as an intra-articular injection and is recommended for patients who have not obtained adequate relief with non-pharmacological treatments or analgesics. Sodium hyaluronate therapy can help reduce pain and improve quality of life in patients with this condition.
Composition
Each syringe contains 8 mg/ml of sodium hyaluronate, a polysaccharide naturally found in the body with viscoelastic properties.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to sodium hyaluronate or any component of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of joint or surrounding skin infections, or in patients with autoimmune diseases affecting the joints.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of allergic reactions to dermal products. Additionally, the patient's condition should be carefully evaluated before administration, especially if they have bleeding problems or are undergoing anticoagulant treatment. It should not be mixed with other medications in the same syringe.
Storage
Synvisc One should be stored at a controlled temperature between 2 °C and 25 °C. Protect from light and do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
