Indications
Supradol Gel is indicated for the treatment of acute pain of moderate to severe intensity, as well as for the management of postoperative pain. Its rapid and effective analgesic action makes it suitable for the relief of pain associated with musculoskeletal injuries, surgical procedures, and painful conditions in general. It can be used in situations where significant pain control is required, especially in patients who need a rapid reduction of painful symptoms.
Composition
Each 100 g of gel contains 30 mg of ketorolac tromethamine as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and cutaneous absorption.
Contraindications
Supradol Gel is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to ketorolac or any component of the formula. It should not be used in patients with active gastric or intestinal ulcers, a history of gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal insufficiency, or in the third trimester of pregnancy. Its use in combination with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) should be avoided due to an increased risk of adverse effects.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of asthma, hypertension, heart failure, or cardiovascular diseases. It is important to avoid contact of the gel with eyes, open wounds, or mucous membranes. The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest possible time to minimize the risk of adverse effects. If adverse reactions occur, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
