Indications
Supradol Duet is indicated for the treatment of acute moderate to severe pain, such as that which may occur after surgical procedures or in cases of post-traumatic pain. This medication combines two analgesic agents: ketorolac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that acts by reducing inflammation and pain; and tramadol, an opioid analgesic that acts on the central nervous system to relieve pain. Its use must be evaluated and supervised by a healthcare professional, considering the type and intensity of the pain, as well as the individual response to treatment.
Composition
Each Supradol Duet tablet contains 10 mg of Ketorolac and 25 mg of Tramadol, in addition to excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
Supradol Duet is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergy to the components of the formula, in those with active gastric ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, or severe renal failure. It should not be administered in combination with other opioids or alcohol, due to the risk of serious adverse effects.
Precautions
It is important that the use of Supradol Duet be carried out under strict medical supervision, especially in patients with a history of respiratory disorders, seizures, or opioid dependence. Caution should be exercised in its use in elderly patients, as well as in those with cardiovascular or liver problems. Prolonged use can lead to tolerance and dependence.
Storage
Store at room temperature, in a dry and cool place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
