Indications
Sufrexal Combi is a medication indicated for the treatment of vaginal infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to its components. Metronidazole acts against anaerobic bacteria and protozoa, while miconazole provides antifungal activity against fungi. The combination of these active ingredients allows for addressing mixed infections, facilitating the recovery of normal vaginal flora and relieving symptoms such as itching, burning, and abnormal discharge. It is especially useful in cases of bacterial vaginosis and vaginal candidiasis. Its use is recommended under medical supervision to ensure its suitability in each particular case.
Composition
Each ovule contains: Ketanserin 36 mg, Metronidazole 500 mg, Miconazole 100 mg.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in pregnant women during the first trimester or in breastfeeding women without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver and kidney diseases. It is important to avoid concomitant use with oral anticoagulants. It should not be used during pregnancy unless strictly necessary and under the supervision of a doctor. After administering the ovule, sexual intercourse should be avoided until the infection has been adequately treated.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a cool and dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
