Indications
Stugeron Forte is indicated for the treatment of balance disorders and vertigo. It is also used in the management of symptoms associated with Meniere's disease, as well as for the prevention and treatment of motion sickness-related nausea and vomiting. Its action is based on the antagonism of H1 histamine receptors and the property of neuronal membrane stabilization, which contributes to the improvement of cerebral and peripheral circulation.
Composition
Each Stugeron Forte tablet contains 75 mg of Cinnarizine as the active ingredient. Excipients: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Stugeron Forte is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cinnarizine or any other component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in cases of Parkinson's disease and in patients with severe liver function disorders.
Precautions
Special caution should be exercised in patients with a history of hematological disorders, as well as in those with cardiovascular diseases. Medical supervision during treatment is recommended. Use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended without proper medical evaluation. It may cause drowsiness, so caution should be exercised when driving or operating heavy machinery.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light and keep out of reach of children.
