Indications

Stilnox (Zolpidem) is indicated for the short-term treatment of insomnia in adults. This medication is useful in patients who have difficulty initiating or maintaining sleep. Its use is recommended in situations where insomnia significantly affects the patient's daily life. It should be noted that treatment should be short-term, generally not recommended for use longer than 4 weeks, including the tapering period.

Composition

Each Stilnox tablet contains 10 mg of Zolpidem as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and administration.

Contraindications

Stilnox is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Zolpidem or any other component of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe respiratory diseases, severe hepatic insufficiency, and in those with a history of substance abuse or drug dependence. Likewise, its use is not recommended in pregnant and lactating women.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Stilnox to patients with a history of depression, substance abuse problems, or behavioral disorders. It is important to avoid combination with alcohol and other central nervous system depressants, as this may increase the risk of adverse effects. It should also be considered that prolonged use can lead to physical and psychological dependence.

Storage

Stilnox should be stored in a cool, dry place, at a temperature below 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
