Indications

Stilnox CR is indicated for the short-term treatment of insomnia in adults. It is especially useful in patients who have difficulty initiating or maintaining sleep. Its use is suggested in cases where sleep deprivation causes a significant deterioration in the patient's quality of life. This medication acts on benzodiazepine receptors in the central nervous system, facilitating sleep induction and prolonging its duration, resulting in more restful sleep. It is important to note that the use of Stilnox CR should be limited to a short period and under adequate medical supervision, to avoid the development of dependence or tolerance.

Composition

Each Stilnox CR tablet contains 12.5 mg of Zolpidem as the active ingredient. Excipients include lactose, corn starch, and other inactive components that allow for the formulation and stability of the medication.

Contraindications

Stilnox CR is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Zolpidem or to any of the excipients in the formulation.
