Indications
Stadium is indicated for the treatment of acute pain of moderate intensity, such as that which may occur in conditions like dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain), headache, dental pain, and postoperative pain. Its anti-inflammatory and analgesic action makes it an effective therapeutic option for pain relief, thereby facilitating an improvement in the quality of life for patients who require it. Dexketoprofen acts by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are chemical mediators involved in inflammation and the generation of pain.
Composition
Each Stadium tablet contains 25 mg of dexketoprofen trometamol as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.
Contraindications
Stadium is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to dexketoprofen or any of the components of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients with active gastric or duodenal ulcers, severe renal insufficiency, and in those with a history of severe allergic reactions to other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, hypertension, heart failure, and in those receiving anticoagulant treatment. It is important to evaluate renal function before starting treatment, especially in elderly patients or those with risk factors for renal insufficiency.
Storage
Stadium should be stored in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of the reach of children. The storage temperature should not exceed 30°C.
