Indications
Sophipren Oft is a medication indicated for the treatment of various inflammatory and allergic conditions of the eye. It is used in the management of conditions such as allergic conjunctivitis, keratitis, uveitis, and other forms of ocular inflammation. Prednisolone, its active ingredient, acts as a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation and relieve associated symptoms such as redness, itching, and tearing. Additionally, this medication can be used in cases of eye injuries requiring anti-inflammatory treatment.
Composition
Each ml of Sophipren Oft contains 10 mg of prednisolone as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that allow for the formulation of the ophthalmic solution.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to prednisolone or any of the components of the formulation. It should not be used in cases of untreated viral, bacterial, or fungal eye infections, as well as in patients with ocular herpes simplex.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of glaucoma, cataracts, or recurrent eye infections. It is important to avoid prolonged use of corticosteroids in the eye, as it can lead to adverse effects such as increased intraocular pressure and cataract development. Regular medical follow-up is recommended during treatment, and it should be discontinued immediately if adverse effects occur.
Storage
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.

- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
