Indications
Somazina is indicated for the treatment of neurological disorders, as well as for the rehabilitation of cerebrovascular diseases. Citicoline, its active ingredient, is a neuroprotective agent that contributes to neuronal recovery and improves cognitive function. This medication can be used in cases of ischemic brain damage and as part of therapy in patients who have suffered a stroke, helping in the regeneration of neuronal membranes and promoting the synthesis of neurotransmitters. Furthermore, citicoline has been shown to be useful in the treatment of memory disorders and in improving cognitive performance in conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.
Composition
Each Somazina ampule contains 1000 mg of citicoline and excipients necessary for its formulation.
Contraindications
Somazina is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to citicoline or any of the product's excipients. Its use should also be avoided in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to similar medications.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of convulsive disorders, as well as in those with liver or kidney diseases. It is essential that the use of this medication be supervised by a healthcare professional to avoid interactions with other treatments and medical conditions.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light and keep out of reach of children.
