Indications

Silka Medic Gel 1% is a medication indicated for the treatment of superficial fungal skin infections. It is used in the treatment of ringworm, cutaneous candidiasis, and other dermatological infections caused by fungi susceptible to terbinafine. This medication works by inhibiting fungal growth, thus promoting the resolution of symptoms and improving the appearance of the affected skin. It can also be used for the treatment of athlete's foot and mild onychomycosis.

Composition

Each 100 g of Silka Medic Gel contains 1 g of terbinafine as the active ingredient. Excipients: carbopol, purified water, glycerin, among others.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to terbinafine or any other component of the formulation. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless under strict medical supervision.

Precautions

Care should be taken when applying Silka Medic Gel to extensive areas of the skin or mucous membranes. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of irritation or skin rash, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor. Its use is not recommended for deep or systemic fungal infections, as its formulation is exclusively designed for topical use.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light and out of the reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
