Indications
Sil-Norboral is indicated for the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, in cases where diet and exercise have not achieved adequate blood glucose control. This medication combines two hypoglycemic agents: Metformin, which acts by decreasing glucose production in the liver and increasing insulin sensitivity, and Glibenclamide, which stimulates insulin release by the pancreas. It is used in patients who cannot achieve adequate control with Metformin alone or Glibenclamide alone, thus providing a dual therapeutic approach for more effective glucose control.
Composition
Each tablet contains: 500 mg of Metformin and 5 mg of Glibenclamide.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with type 1 diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis, severe renal insufficiency, severe liver diseases, and conditions that may cause tissue hypoxia, such as severe heart or respiratory insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with cardiovascular diseases, moderate renal or hepatic insufficiency, as well as in those who are undergoing concomitant treatment with medications that may affect blood glucose. It is important to regularly monitor glucose levels and adjust the dose according to the individual needs of the patient.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
