Indications
Sig 5 mg is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension. It is also used in the management of stable chronic heart failure, as well as in the prevention of anginal episodes in patients with angina pectoris. Bisoprolol fumarate acts as a selective beta-blocker, which helps reduce heart rate and blood pressure, thereby improving cardiac function and decreasing the load on the heart.
Composition
Each Sig 5 mg tablet contains 5 mg of bisoprolol fumarate as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients such as lactose, starch, and other components that facilitate the tablet's formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to bisoprolol fumarate or any component of the formula. It should not be administered to individuals with severe bradycardia, second- or third-degree atrioventricular block, bronchial asthma or severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, as well as in cases of uncontrolled heart failure.
Precautions
Caution is advised in patients with a history of obstructive pulmonary disease, renal or hepatic insufficiency, diabetes mellitus, and in those with a history of allergic reactions. It is important to monitor cardiac function and blood pressure during treatment. Dose adjustment may be necessary in some patients.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
