Indications
Sig 10 mg is indicated for the treatment of essential arterial hypertension in adults. It is also used in the management of stable chronic heart failure, as well as in the treatment of certain types of cardiac arrhythmias. Bisoprolol fumarate, as a beta-blocker, acts by reducing heart rate and blood pressure, thereby helping to decrease the burden on the heart and improve cardiac function in patients with specific conditions.
Composition
Each tablet contains 10 mg of bisoprolol fumarate as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients necessary for the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to bisoprolol fumarate or any of the excipients. It should not be administered in cases of severe bradycardia, second or third-degree heart block, sick sinus syndrome, and in patients with decompensated heart failure. Likewise, it should be avoided in patients with bronchial asthma or severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with diabetes mellitus, as bisoprolol fumarate may mask the symptoms of hypoglycemia. Supervision is also recommended in patients with cardiovascular diseases, thyroid diseases, and in those requiring surgery, as it may affect the response to anesthetics. Regular monitoring is important to adjust the dose according to the patient's clinical response.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
